While we were in California we initiated a
variation of stone balancing. It involves building dry stone arches over around or on top of, (but without touching) any of the variation of clever dry stacked/balanced stone configurations that you often see posted on stone balancing websites.
We call it 'Dry Stone Yoga' or #drystoneyoga. That's because the balanced stones often end up looking like yoga positions.
The craze is turning out to be kind of a game changer and I think if your any good at balancing stone it's worth giving it a try.
In the photo above, we've dressed our dry stone yoga lady from Sierra Alta in a blue tarp. Give her an axe in her hands and she kinda looks like Granny Clamped of the Beverly Hills.
I wonder if Granny ever practiced yoga, or, stone balancing for that matter?
