Here is a design we came up with for a fire-surround. We call it a 'firefold'. Three seats each with wedged shaped backrests to serve as a wind break and as a heat sink. The fire pit and walking area is recessed and creates a pleasing enclosure where other seats may be added.
Here is the progress so far. One 'pod' nearly completed. Two more to go.
