The School of Arch and Design

I promised the students at Haliburton that after we completed building the wall at the museum we would get to 'work' on designing and building arches

Well actually it was more like getting to 'play' with arches

This one, which involved each one of the students holding a rock in place to form a sort of 'communal arch', took about five tries before we got it.

Magically, on the 6th attempt it snapped into place.

It seems that in the enjoyment and challenge of trying to connect stones together to form an arch, it somehow also brings people together.
