Stoneflakes

I created a series of stoneflakes from photos of dry stone walls I took when I was in Ireland last year.  I merely infused the pictures with a pinch of kaleidoscopic symmetry.  

Where some might have only seen annoying randomness and a lack of order in these walls, a reassuring meaningfulness emerges. When our focus involves seeing more angles than just our own, something enchanting always happens. 

I think the joy of 'symmetry' is what the world needs this Christmas season.
