Thirty days to catchup, to look back and remember

Because of the heat and the blistering sun
A parcel of time that helps wrap up the summer
That stalls all the fall things and makes the season 'funner'
A space to relax in and fulfill desires
Before we start axing and building wood fires
Before closing up the cottage once more
And putting all the water sport toys in store
