Photographed yesterday, Barre Vermont monument worker Homer Peake looks up as he is just about to sandblast the special inscription we composed for the base stone of the Sept 11th 2011 dry stone arch structure which wallers and masons built during last weekend's 'Rocknocker Reunion'.

Tomorrow - pics of the completed permanent Gothic arch fire pit entrance way.

  1. Very poignant.
    Archways are sometimes
representational of a victory (or sorts)

    Let Peace be Our Victory
    Today and Always
    Lest We Forget

Anon as I can't figure the sign in proceedures. Eissua B. Jiossy

  2. Thoroughly enjoyed my time with John and the other rocknockers. It's the way I recharge my batteries.

  3. Slightly off topic, but, I just read the "menue" for Rocktoberfest. It blew my mind, I was laughing hysterically. But as I think about it, not surprising.

  4. Yes the food and the music are both very key ingredients to our annual walling festival. All the wallers who volunteer their time deserve the best.
