Images from our last full day in Cumbria

Here we are all assembled in rain gear to begin our morning trek over the fells.

The Cumbrian landscape is full of amazingly interesting dry stone structures. The hills are alive with soundly built walls of every kind to muse on.

There always seems to be something different to see around every corner. This way of coping for example.

There are walls to see through.
Stone ascents

and scents.

And so much more.
