Photographed yesterday, Barre Vermont monument worker Homer Peake looks up as he is just about to sandblast the special inscription we composed for the base stone of the Sept 11th 2011 dry stone arch structure which wallers and masons built during last weekend's 'Rocknocker Reunion'.Tomorrow - pics of the completed permanent Gothic arch fire pit entrance way.

Very poignant.

Thoroughly enjoyed my time with John and the other rocknockers. It's the way I recharge my batteries.

ReplyDeleteYes the food and the music are both very key ingredients to our annual walling festival. All the wallers who volunteer their time deserve the best.
